Natural Supplements: How Are They Better?

A number of people do not get proper nourishment from their daily diet. It is important and beneficial for us as human beings to take all seven nutrients in our food. Proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, water, and fiber are all seven of them. Even if one nutrient is missing from our diet, it eventually leads to consequences that are unknown.

Sadly, our lifestyle in today’s day and age encourages us to indulge in more processed food. It makes us lazy and unhealthy with little or no physical activity. With the concept of parents working full time, little attention is paid on what their children. They don’t even realize that what are their kids are eating and spending money on. Excessive screen time and sitting on the couch all day has led to an unhealthy life and lifestyle. Where we might get the main nutrients which are fats, carbohydrates, and proteins here and there. Most of the foods especially processed foods lack minerals and vitamins in them.

This is why it is vital and much needed to incorporate natural supplements into our diets. It proves to be beneficial for the body in the long-term. Having said that, there are two major sources in the market to choose from. One is the range of natural products that are not that easily available and the other is synthetic product range.

Natural & Synthetic Product| Which one is better?

Natural products are those products that are completely 100% plant and animal-based and contain essential antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, for example, the Supernatural Botanicals kratom. Kratom is extracted from a herbaceous plant and contains many alkaloids and biological compounds that help act as a natural supplement.

Synthetic products are man-made and are assembled in the laboratory. They might contain a good amount of vitamins and antioxidants and work well for the time being but in reality, these synthetic products are more harmful than anything else.

The body may react differently to different products and even if it gets acclimatized to the synthetic products, there will be some sort of mark left on the body in a negative manner. It happens oftentimes that even though these products cause damage to the body, they side by side do not get readily absorbed.

There are various supplements with different intensities that are taken by people. Women who are breastfeeding need more vitamin D and A as compared to women in their 20’s. They need more folic acid in their diet to strengthen their bodies and bones. People with nutrient deficiencies need to identify what their body lacks and then go for supplement use.

It also depends on our region and environment and the food we consume. It determines our need for nutrients and if we are completely taking them or not. People who eat natural and healthy food might not have to face these issues as their diet already fulfills their body’s needs. People who consume more processed food or do not take proper portions need to add additives in their life.

Starving can also be a major problem as the body uses stored nutrients for survival. It leads to deprivation of vitamins and minerals in the body.
